Anna Smith is a rising third year studying organ with Dr. Wayne Wold at Shenandoah Conservatory. She currently works as the Church Music Intern for the 2025-2026 year at Trinity Episcopal Church in Upperville, Virginia. Previously, Anna served as a church organist at Zion United Church of Christ in her hometown of York, Pennsylvania. Anna currently serves on the board of the D.C. Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO). Her most recent performances include a recital on the newly-restored 1804 Tannenberg Organ that is located in the York Historical Center as well as a cello and organ concert at Trinity Episcopal Church.
As an organist, Anna often performs solo and collaborative recitals on a wide range of instruments. She has performed on historic instruments such as the 1804 Tannenberg organ located in the York Historical Center in Pennsylvania, and she has also performed on French instruments such as the magnificent Aeolian Skinner organ in Trinity Episcopal Church in Upperville, Virginia. In addition to recitals, Anna also plays organ for weddings, bringing a beautiful, traditional element to your special day.
